moms who cloth diaper.. i have a couple questions.?
so i am about 3 months into using cloth diapers. i am diapering my toddler son 2 years old, and my newborn son one month old.
i am using prefolds as my diapers of choice with the thirsties duo wrap. i like this so far. i really like that my supply i bought "should" last through both of my boys.
but using the prefolds, am i supposed to iron them after washing? they seem to shrink alot and would ironing stretch them out abit again?
i am doing something called an angel fold ( i looked it up on youtube.com) is the back supposed to come all the way around the front? it only seems to come abit past the hips, and then with the snappy it all seems so tight around the waist. i am afraid of using pins though...
are there any moms who use prefold cloth diapers that can give me some tips?
you dont need to iron them. What sizes are you using? I use the premium size prefolds on my 2 yr old and there is still alot of room to grow. I also use the Duos, love them.
I think you're doing it right. If its a regualr prefold, they are a bit narrow. Green mouintain diapers sells prefolds that are a bit wider of you do want ones that are wider. I do mine like you do. I flare out the front and back. I use either a toddler sized snappi (longer than a regular snappi) or I pin.
